This is one of those things that I try not to think about...but it's why it's hard to sleep at night. A 13 year old girl just recently passed away due to T1D...after managing her disease well for 10 years, this still can happen. Thinking of her family today.
(((HUGS))). I wish we could all be together on days like today. It is tough to hear. It could easily be anyone of us. That makes me so sad. So sad for all of us.
ReplyDeleteThe first time I'd heard about DIB syndrome after Jack was diagnosed I was so freaked out. I was shocked. Neither our endo nor our diabetes educator had told us about THAT! It still worries me, but the shock is no longer there.
